New Energy

Norton Zone Beta Launch

At Energy Energy Design we pride ourselves on creating long term partnerships with our clients. We become the trusted resource that is always available for a rush project and ready to help solve any complex visual branding problem. We have leveraged our experience to become a trusted partner in launching many significant software products.  We began working with Norton Zone executive marketing team several months ago, helping them visualize the product and creating images, charts, landing pages that describe the vision of the product and product strategy. We created a comprehensive intranet site in Drupal for the Symantec internal audience to gain product insights and detailed product launch information. A very important aspect of a successful product launch is a memorable internal launch, we created a campaign that got people to try the internal beta. Along with an arsenal of product launch sales tools we worked on key elements of the products user interface creating a series of icons and images. Also we created the product beta launch landing pages and images.

 

Karen Kang’s New Book BrandingPays

Karen is awesome!

We first started working with Karen back in 1997 for a company called Cygnus Solutions she was helping them with their strategic positioning and we were working on the visual branding. It started a long partnership of working together and helping many clients achieve branding success.

She has just finished her fantastic book Branding Pays. She has taken her vast knowledge of corporate branding, her methodology and applied it to personal branding. She has created a five step system for people to reinvent their personal brand.

Here at Energy we have been working with Karen and her team on developing the visual brand for the book that is an extension of her company brand we created a few years ago.

Wanderful Media Launches, New Visual Brand

Wanderful Media is a company reinventing local discovery shopping, making it engaging, fun and social for consumers, wherever they are and however they shop—tablet, mobile or web. The Wanderful Media logo’s bold typeface represents digital innovation. The “a” in the circle is highlighted in the logo to reinforce the power of building audiences.

Information graphics just released

Citrix Motion Graphics

The team at Energy Energy Design recently completed this very cool motion graphics video for Citrix. Working with the Citrix internal design team we visualized the Citrix design principles in a motion graphics presentation for an internal audience. Motion graphics videos are a great way to inform and entertain at the same time. Strong brands realize how compelling content like motion graphics animations can inspire the viewer to take action. Web Presence

At Energy Energy Design we launched our first website for Alain Pinel Realtors back in 1993. Like many agencies we have become more and more immersed in digital media. We have realized that companies are looking for new ways to get a strong web presence that they cannot get with a traditional web development company. We have been creating truly customized web experiences that are integrated into social media with a strong branding strategy. More to come…

Ballet San Jose Showcases New Branding

Ballet San Jose Showcases New Branding in Its 2010-2011 Season Brochure Designed by Energy Energy
Custom Photography and Illustration Captures Ballet’s Beauty and Athleticism

LOS GATOS, California, November 5, 2010 – Energy Energy Design, a leading Bay Area design consultancy, today announced that it has delivered the subscription brochure in celebration of the Ballet San Jose’s 25th Anniversary Season. A world-class, classically-based ballet company, Ballet San Jose initiated a re-branding project in 2009 that elevated the company’s marketing materials to match the world-class reputation of the Ballet San Jose itself. The new season brochure represents the first large printed piece to highlight the new brand image.

Energy art directed a photoshoot with noted San Francisco photographer R.J. Muna, the Ballet’s costume designer, and dancers to highlight the beauty and athleticism of the ballet. Photography was also re-used on the Ballet’s web site to create brand consistency and preserve the visual richness characteristic of the Ballet’s tremendous history and innovation.

“We were delighted to work with the dancers and be able to visually capture the stories of this season’s performances and to draw open the curtain on the Ballet’s new brand,” said Leslie Guidice, founder and principal of Energy Energy Design. “We designed the brochure using R.J. Muna’s phenomenal performance photography and custom illustration for a visually compelling piece that will excite recipients about the season’s program.”

Energy initially refreshed the Ballet’s visual identity and web site home page in 2009, as well as developed easy-to-use design templates that enable the Ballet to cost-effectively produce tickets, programs, and other marketing materials in house. The agency also maintains an on-call relationship with the Ballet to provide specialized assistance when needed.

OMG I was art directing a photo shoot the other day with Chris Conroy (Great Photographer) and he mentioned a photo shoot we did back in the 90’s when clients understood the importance of custom photography. The shoot was for a direct marketing program for a software company Cygnus. We pulled model cards from several different modeling agencies and happened to pick and use a very young and handsome Josh Duhamel, Fergie’s man. Cygnus was bought by Red Hat. Check it out
